has another ear infection and fighting congestion. I am so bummed, but am thankful that I caught it early. She became fussy on Wednesday and by that night I knew something wasn't right. I called the doctor yesterday and they got her in right away. Needless to say they were shocked themselves with a second ear infection and told me that I needed to see the doctor myself. I've been fighting congestion and just not feeling well since I came home from the hospital. I guess I've just been so busy that I put myself and health on the back burner. Not good. Never again. I have got to take care of myself, especially right now! Long story short, well some what I got in to see my doctor yesterday afternoon and she started me on some meds that should clear me up very fast. Um, hello.. why did I not go and see her earlier?!?

was loads of fun and lots of time spent with family. To kick off the weekend I went to my gals school for reading time and when I walked in her class I saw this..

I'm secretly hoping they are in the same class next year because they are so cute. His name is Aiden and he is very smart! They read together at the same time and I swear it's helped K a lot. They've developed such a cute friendship and I know she's going to miss him.

 

After that I met back up with my other two littles and decided to treat him with his first pedicure.. it took a little convincing, but after it was over I'm afraid I'm going to have a new pedi partner! :) Also baby A did amazing and can't wait till she gets old enough to join us.

That afternoon after we got K we stopped at one of the new local hot spots in town.. it's called SmallCakes and it is beyond amazing!! Almost too close to home!

Saturday we had a full day that started off celebrating my nephews 5th birthday.. I love this picture!

The kiddos had a blast and heck so did the adults.. K and I hit 500 tickets!!

We then all went back to my sisters to celebrate Mother's Day and my Aunt's birthday.. cake, cake and more cake!! Let's just say I consumed well over my share that day.

My wonderful mom that deserves everything in this world. She is amazing and I will never be able to thank her enough for raising us the way she did. She's never turned her back on any of us and has always been there to lend us her hand, whatever the situation may be. She is someone that I look up to and pray that I can be as good of a mom to my own children as she was to us.

Sunday was Mother's Day and we had my mother-in-law over for lunch. We let the kiddos swim while daddy fired up the grill for us. It was a nice day and the perfect weather. I love A's expression in this picture.. like really mom, another picture?!?! Better get used to it baby girl.. :)

I was also blessed with some beautiful flowers and cards from my littles and husband.

When we found out I was pregnant with baby Adalynn I had many thoughts/fears/emotions going through my head. One of my biggest fears was are the kids going to accept her? I just kept thinking they are so close how are they going to handle someone else coming in between them. Well my fears can take a hike and a long one at that.

They both have played the big sister/big brother role like it was nothing. Do you see J giving her the ol' finger in place of her passy?? That's pure instinct right there except next time I told him he needed to wash his hands first! :)

So happy I stopped and grabbed my camera today. It was spontaneous, the kids were all for it and baby A is working on her "cheese".

I finally managed to remember to bring my phone with me in the bathroom and in result we have baby tubby pics!! I just love babies, but even more I like chubby babies. Baby A is getting there and her little baby rolls are starting to develop. She has loved her baths from the start, but getting out was a whole another story. Trust me, I get it.. it's cold, but man baby girl was not having it! Just this week she has decided that getting out stinks, but not the end of the world. Whew!

I can't believe we're down another week.. crazy! Time is going by so fast that I'm almost scared to blink! ;) This week's been fun, but also a little difficult if I'm being honest. Adalynn's hit a growth spurt and wanting to eat more than normal. My sleeping pattern was a bit off in result, which for me sleep is mandatory. J's been a bit restless in the house, which I can't blame him. I promise I'm trying to get better at getting everyone ready and out of the house in a more timely manner. K's been giving me a run for my money in the mornings with not wanting to wear what I have laid out. Seriously.. we are going to start laying out her clothes together the night before so we are both on the same page.

BUT no matter how bad of a day/week I have I always come back to my happy place and that is what matters most. I am a mom and I make mistakes. I am still learning and will continue to do so. My kids look at me like they look at no other. I make them smile and they do the same in return. We are a family and family is forever. #real

Happy Weekend!!

This past weekend we celebrated my niece's 2nd birthday with a Minnie Mouse themed party. It was loads of fun and she is just such a doll.. Have you checked out her hair?? I mean it doesn't get any cuter than that! I still don't see how my sister manages those curls. :) The cake was super cute and tasted wonderfully.. my sister always scores the best deals when it comes to cakes, she had this one made from Kroger.

She wasn't too sure with everyone singing Happy Birthday, but she was sure about her cupcakes!

We've had a nice weekend with lots of family time. The weather was perfect except for Saturday afternoon when we were headed to a wedding. It was pouring down and made for a difficult drive, but we made it and man am I glad we did. The kids had the time of their lives and let's just say them dancing together pretty much stole the show. I must admit it was the cutest thing especially when they danced along side me and the hubby. Really pulled at my heart strings and made us both so proud. The bond our family holds is unbreakable baby! :)

The faces she makes are priceless and I've managed to snap a few pics to share. Oh and daddy had his babies put to work this weekend.. cutting the grass, washing windows and washing his new ride. I'm just bummed they forgot about mine!

The other day the kids and I were at Wal-mart and we ran across a slip n' slide.. boy can I remember those good ol' days! The kids were very into it and were practically begging me to buy it for them, so I did. I figured it would be good for them and good for the yard. And yes that is exactly how I justified it to my husband too. :)

J is usually my dare devil, but not today.. K was having a ball!
