Day three was amazing or more like breathtaking. We spent the morning on the beach playing and the afternoon checking out the
Harborwalk and ended our evening with a sunset cruise. I was in awe and my poor camera was in overdrive and you poor folks are about to be photo dumped. Ha!
I loved the Harborwalk and not just because they had a Starbucks! ;)
The sunset cruise was like a 3-in-1.. we made a stop at crab island to collect seashells..
I let my husband be the guide while I sat in back with my camera..
My gal was fearless people.. she was collecting shells as if she was going to turn them in for money.
This guy filled his bucket and then just decided to run along the beach..
And of course there are those times when I am reminded that two is better than one..
I {heart} this picture of my loves..
And can you tell what my kids loved collecting.. hermet crabs and today we realized that one of those babies made it home with us.
There were so many boats out on the water.. just anchored out ready for the sunset.
We also got to go looking for dolphins at which wasn't all that hard. They were swimming all around us and I was flipping out!! It was the neatest thing and my kiddos were stoked.
The views just couldn't get any better..
It was an amazing sunset too.. just look at that color??
And when it was almost down the sky was still showing off.. I was impressed.
It was a wonderful boat ride and a great way to end the day.
That evening we ate at this little italian place called
LaFamiglia and it was out of this world.. I seriously would recommend it if you're in the area, by far the best meal we had the entire time.
Day four was our last day, and we totally made the most of it. I took a few shots of the kiddos on the beach and then we headed out for the
pensacola avaition museum. This was on my list of to-do's for our drive back home.. I just knew J would be in heaven and I managed to get a few decent shots to hang in his room. That's what I like to call a win-win! ;)
We made the drive back home that afternoon and got in about 10pm that night.. I actually drove the entire way! We can't wait to go back.. it was such a fun trip and I am so thankful we were able to go.
Whew, it feels good to be caught up.. I was thinking those pictures were going to be the life of me. This past week's been pretty quiet for the most part, Jacob did have tee-ball pictures on Tuesday, so I'll post those soon. We're in for a long holiday weekend and I couldn't be more ready. We have zero plans, which leaves plenty of room for something spontaneous to happen.
Happy Friday!
